Yet, moving to the cloud is an increasingly popular choice for small to midsize organizations that want to avoid an up-front investment or just appreciate the flexibility of a cloud-based model. Its low entry cost has contributed to the cloud's widespread adoption. According to a recent study, a high 93 percent of organizations are currently using cloud-based software. The cloud computing movement has grown by 21 percent since 2015 and will only grow over time.
